Gorgeous 2000 Harley Davidson |

This is a sweet Harley Davidson Sportster custom, with approx 13,500 miles on the odometer. It started life as a tame 883cc bike, but in the summer of 03 was upgraded to 1200cc, giving it stump pulling power for truck passing and effortless hill climbing.
When the bike was still getting prepped at the dealer, the gear case cover, primary chain cover, and secondary belt cover were swapped out for Harley chrome versions. It also has the chrome upper and lower chain guard, rocker covers, battery and side cover, as well as a Softtail laced rear wheel. The front brake rotor is a Harley Davidson Floating element rotor, and the Harley temperature gauge oil dip stick. The seat is a Mustang Royal 2-up seat (very comfortable), with a short sissy bar and back rest.
The stock drag style handle bars have been replaced with very comfortable Harley (stainless steel, not chrome) Buckhorn bars, and Kuryakin Iso Grips for reduced vibration riding at the hands. With the forward foot controls, you'll feel like Peter Fonda in Easy Rider leaning back and cruising. The rear fender has been swapped out with a Softtail bobbed fender for better look. As Sportster owners say, the Harley tax* has been paid with a low-restriction Harley Screaming Eagle Air cleaner with K&N Filter element, and the carb has been re-jetted for drilled out stock mufflers for that narley Harley sound. It has the stock drilled mufflers on it now, but if you want less noise, you can put on the stock mufflers, also included, or get yourself some Vance && Hines pipes. The bike currently has a home brew luggage rack on the back. Lastly, it has a nice National Street Shield EX windshield with quick release brackets.
During the late spring of 2003 (at approx 5500 miles), the bike was upgraded with Keith Black 1200 pistons, and black bored out cylinders. The bike was re-jetted from the stock 42/160 to 45/180. The idle mix was unplugged and adjusted as well. The bike pulls now like a freight train.
